Hey, hey! We’re Polly & Dude, and we’re on a wild new mission: to track down and experience all the joyful things across the UK, and create the ultimate Joy Directory for anyone who needs a little dopamine boost.

A one-stop Joy Pop Shop!

Is this idea bonkers? 100%. Am I terrified about sustaining it? You bet. But I know in my gut this is exactly what the world needs right now and I feel incredibly passionate about making it accessible. We’re all dealing with a tough reality, and joy isn’t just a luxury—it’s essential and we have to create it.

Tiny sparks of happiness can ripple far beyond what we imagine.

So, here I am, leaping with faith, and backed by my furry genius (yes, I mean Dude). We’ve got big plans: a website, podcasts, video series, maybe even an app and a book. No clue how we’ll pull it off, but we’ve got a pocket full of passion and we’re ready to go!

But here’s the thing—we can’t do it alone. That’s where you come in. Over the years, we’ve been lucky to build this incredible community, and we’d love for you to hop on our joy ride! If you know any joyful places, people, projects, books, podcasts, or even just a great joke, send them our way.

This is all about collaboration, after six years of working solo, I’m SO excited to get back to creating with others. Dude and I are set to visit and explore everything that brings joy, and we want to inspire and share that magic with the world.

We spent the past year doing up Nova, our Fun Bus (check out the reno below), and next year we dream of making a documentary about the amazing people bringing joy to their communities—from choirs to custard pie contests!
